Are your vendors slowly raising prices and not making you aware? Did you negotiate a great deal and then find out too late that your purchasing department is paying 10-30% more than originally promised? Lots of secondary vendors sell parts and supplies at huge discounts to oems. If they 'only' raise these toner prices by $2 or $3, an administrator will typically just put in the new invoiced price which will automatically update the preferred item price. This report will show you trends on price changes by vendors on individual items. Small price changes are often not seen by your staff as significant (especially if it's still the lowest price available) but several incremental changes can have a serious overall effect.
